Our Assurance Method

One framework. Every assurance engagement.

The Lemuel Deployment Readiness Standard (LDRS) is Lemuel Technologies' own versioned assessment framework. This page documents it in full: what each dimension checks, how a recommendation is reached, and what it takes for Lemuel Technologies to call itself independent of the work it also delivered.

Why it matters

The test usually happens too late.

Too many technology decisions are validated after launch, in production, with customers and regulators watching. By then, the cost of discovering the failure is much higher than the cost of testing it.

Lemuel Technologies provides independent testing evidence before go-live — a Deployment Evidence Report that documents conditions tested, observed results, failures, risk implications, and what must change.

Three Levels Of Rigor

A technical test is not a deployment decision.

Lemuel Technologies works at the third level.

Level 1 — Testing. Does the software work? Unit tests, QA, feature verification. Necessary, but not sufficient. Level 2 — Assurance. Is it secure, performant, resilient, recoverable, interoperable, and compliant? Security scans, performance tests, penetration testing, compliance audits. Closer, but still fragmented. Level 3 — Lemuel Deployment Assurance. Should this system be deployed? What risks remain? Who accepts them? What must happen before go-live? All LDRS dimensions combined into one evidence-backed recommendation.

Lemuel Technologies combines relevant evidence across the LDRS dimensions and issues one clear readiness recommendation: ready to deploy, ready with accepted residual risk, remediate and retest, or insufficient evidence to decide.

How An Engagement Runs

Assess. Remediate. Retest.

Assess. We agree the engagement scope, intended environment, relevant LDRS dimensions, and decision criteria. The Bracket recreates the conditions that matter. Remediate. We identify the gaps. Clients may remediate them independently, with another delivery partner, or with Lemuel Technologies' own engineering capability. Retest. We run the agreed retest, preserve the evidence, and update the deployment recommendation.

The Lemuel Deployment Readiness Standard

Eight dimensions. One deployment decision.

Every Lemuel Technologies assurance assessment is checked against the same framework: the applicable dimensions are assessed and any exclusions are documented, so a readiness recommendation rests on defined, repeatable criteria rather than whatever the engineer on the day thought to check.

LDR-1Functional IntegrityDoes the system do what it is supposed to do under real operating conditions?
LDR-2SecurityAre critical weaknesses exposed before deployment?
LDR-3PerformanceDoes it remain usable under load, latency, and constrained bandwidth?
LDR-4ResilienceWhat happens during dependency failure, retry storms, failover, and recovery?
LDR-5RecoveryDo transactions remain complete, consistent, and recoverable after a failure event?
LDR-6InteroperabilityDo APIs, webhooks, and connected systems behave correctly under failure?
LDR-7Requirements & Compliance EvidenceIs there evidence that the system meets the relevant technical or regulatory requirements?
LDR-8Environmental ReadinessDoes the system operate correctly under the specific infrastructure conditions of the target environment?

What a Deployment Evidence Report looks like.

Every assessment against this standard ends in a report like this: applicable dimensions, findings, a readiness recommendation, and the evidence behind it.

LEMUEL
Illustrative sample · not an actual client engagement

Deployment Evidence Report

Readiness recommendationNot ready: remediation and retest required

Blocking condition: retry behavior creates duplicate-payment risk under degraded network conditions.

Findings

PASS

Data integrity preserved through controlled failover

PASS

API recovered after dependency interruption

FAIL

Duplicate payment events occurred during retry condition

FAIL

Authentication service became unavailable below agreed network threshold

RISK

Recovery time exceeded the client's internal tolerance

Supporting evidence

A delivered report includes the agreed test scripts, environment specification, logs, timestamps, reproduction steps, risk impact, and retest criteria. Those attachments are not included in this illustrative example.

This sample is not regulatory approval or compliance certification. The client retains the deployment decision and acceptance of residual risk.

Current status

Assurance credentials and status.

Lemuel Technologies is building toward an independent local testing standard: the licensed framework the market is formalising for independent Software Testing Organisations. That means building its methods, evidence standards, facilities, and team toward it, versioned test environments, repeatable test scripts, evidence integrity and retention controls, controlled local testing infrastructure, and qualified testing and assurance talent.

Lemuel Technologies does not currently hold NITDA certification, licensing, or regulatory approval, and will not claim these until they are factually true.
